The whole world adored Elvis – the snake-hipped, velvet-voiced singer who serenaded the world with unforgettable songs like Always on my Mind, Suspicious Minds and Blue Suede Shoes. All over the world, the memory of Elvis is being kept alive. This week (August 10th-16th) marks Elvis Week in Memphis – an annual gathering of fans from around the world, looking to celebrate the life of this iconic artist, a.k.a ‘The King’.
